Game, set and matrimony for Venus Williams?

Tennis ace Venus Williams is planning to marry her long-term boyfriend Hank Kuehne.

That is according to Mediatakeout.com, which has reported that the successful US sports star has agreed to walk up the aisle with Hank after dating him for a year.

Venus is busily preparing for the Australian Open and as such it is thought that she is keen to keep her engagement to the golf player quiet.

A source told the site: "Venus is preparing for [the Australian Open] and she doesn't need the [media] distraction."

"But everyone is very happy - especially Venus."

In a previous interview with USA Today, Venus said of Hank: "He's a great guy. He understands competition. He's very supportive."

If the rumours prove to be true, this will be the first marriage for the 27-year-old.
