Firstly he surprised me on Boxing Day 2007 telling me that we were going to New York for New Year. He proposed on New Year's Day in Central Park, it was lovely and so romantic

My parents

It's a gold band with a solitaire marquise diamond

Did you help choose the ring?
Colin knew the shape of diamond I liked and that I wanted gold, but he picked the actual ring

Did you have an engagement party?
We are planning to have one some time this month or early February

When do you plan to marry?
Summer 2009

What are you looking forward to the most about planning a wedding?
Everything!! But if I had to pick one, probably choosing my dress and then seeing Colin's face when I walk down the aisle.
