After a romantic candle lit dinner at home, on one knee!

Who did you share the news of your engagement with first?
Gareth told my mum, because he asked her permission.

Describe your ring.
It's 18 ct white gold with a 1/2 carat diamond.

Did you help choose the ring?
No, I was totally in the dark!

Will your partner wear an engagement ring as well?
Not yet but I want to buy him one as a surprise

Did you have an engagement party?
Not yet, but we have one booked for the 17th May 2008

If so, where was it held?
It will held in the Ty Mawr in Lisvane, Cardiff

How many people were invited?
There will be about 60, a mix of friends and family.

Did you have a particular theme for your party?
Hawaiian Luau

When do you plan to marry?
probably 2009 or 2010, we have to save up!

What are you looking forward to the most about planning a wedding?
The dress and the venue.
