Wayne and Coleen to wed in Villa Durazzo?

The exact location for Wayne Rooney and Coleen McLoughlin's wedding celebrations tomorrow has been revealed.

According to the Daily Telegraph, the couple are to exchange vows at the Villa Durazzo in Italy, the same place that Rod Stewart tied the knot with Penny Lancaster last year.

The newspaper claimed that Claudio Marsano, mayor of the coastal resort of Santa Margherita, is to perform the service in the Salone Degli Stucchi room, which features a 17th century painting of the coronation of the Virgin Mary and a Louis XVI chandelier.

A Catholic blessing will also be conducted by the McLoughlin family priest, who will be flown over from Croxteth.

Following the ceremony, the wedding party is to move on to medieval abbey La Cervara, which is set high above Portofino, offering panoramic views of the Mediterranean.

There has been many reports surrounding the exact location for the celebrity wedding, but a source at Santa Margherita town hall told the newspaper: "We have been asked to keep Villa Durazzo free for a wedding service for two British citizens, one of whom is a famous footballer."

The Daily Mirror reported earlier this week that the reception would be held on a £40 million yacht.
