Bride loses 2st for dream TV dress

A bride-to-be from Cheshire reportedly lost two stones in weight in a bid to fit into her dream wedding dress, which she had seen on TV.

According to the Mirror, 31-year-old Collette Woodyatt came across the designer wedding dress, once worn by actress Gaynor Faye on her favourite TV show Fat Friends, for sale on an eBay auction in support of Cancer Research.

"It was just how I pictured my dream dress, so I started bidding," she told the Mirror.

Collette managed to bag the size ten dress, worth around £2,000, for just £235 which motivated her to slim down in time for the big day.

Meanwhile, a couple in the UK reportedly spent just £500 on their wedding by cutting costs on everything from the dress to the wedding venue.

Christopher May and Odette Fenwick bought most of their wedding staples on eBay, with the bride managing to spend just £52 on her wedding dress.
