Wedding dress nightmare becomes reality for brides

Two brides in Kent have revealed their mutual wedding day shock, when both arrived at the same venue for their big day, wearing the same wedding dress, according to reports.

Lisa Goodhew and Emma Johal were thrilled with the bridal gowns they had chosen months in advance of their wedding days until they spotted one another wearing the same dress.

"I was the one person who was meant to be wearing a special dress, and someone else was wearing it," Emma said.

After exchanging wedding vows with her partner of eight years, Emma went outside for photographs when she spotted fellow bride Lisa signing the register.

"I couldn't believe it when people were saying to me the other bride had the same dress. You wouldn't ever dream of that happening. But it all worked out fine," Lisa added.

Both couples had a civil ceremony on the same day at the Bickley Manor Hotel near Bromley, Kent.
