Soap star ditches honeymoon for room service

EastEnders star Scott Maslen was reportedly so tired after his wedding day last month that he decided to give his honeymoon in France a miss.

The 37-year-old soap actor married long-term partner Estelle Rubio, 33, on September 6th and spent five days shacked up in a London hotel rather than taking a planned trip to France for their honeymoon.

Speaking to the Sun newspaper, he said: "We had a really big day and we woke up late. We were supposed to be getting the train from St Pancras but we felt so tired we decided not to bother."

"We only had five days so decided not to spend two days travelling. Instead, we stayed in the hotel, stayed in bed and ordered room service for five days — it was brilliant. We had a wonderful time."

The newlyweds, who have been together for nine years, already have one child, seven-year-old son Zak.
