How and when did you meet?
We met when I was 9 and Jay was 7, I later moved a couple of miles away and Jay would ride his bike to come and see me. We lost touch but then met up in 2004 and started dating in January 2005

How old are you both?
I'm 24 and jay is 22

Where, when and how did he (or you!) propose?
Jay handed me a ring box and asked me what I thought.

Did you have hen and stag celebrations? If so, what did you do?
yes I went to Blackpool and the theme was gangsters and I was the moll, Jay went to Newcastle

How did your groom help with the wedding planning?
He helped me do the favours and just agreed with everything else, oh and turned up.

Did you use confetti to plan your wedding? If so, how did the website help you?
I used the website for ideas on making my invites

Tell us about your outfit, and where you bought it
My dress was by designer Benjamin Roberts style 951. I bought it from the Bridal House Of Chester

Did you have bridesmaids? If so, who did you choose and what did they wear?
I had 6 adults, my 2 sisters Jay's 3 sisters and my best friend as chief bridesmaid they wore mocha and champagne Alfred Angelo floor length dresses. I also had 4 flowers girls, 3 of Jay's nieces and our daughter. They wore champagne dresses from BHS and we had our daughter's made from my mum's wedding dress.

Who did your groom choose for his best man and ushers, and what did they wear?
Jay had his brother as his best man and my brother and his 2 best friends as ushers. They all wore morning suits with mocha and champagne waistcoats. We also had 5 pageboys, my 4 nephews and Jay's nephew. They wore black pants with white shirts and waistcoats that matched the adults.

Did you have a civil or religious ceremony?
We had a religious ceremony

Where did you hold your ceremony?
St. Mary's Parish Church, Flint North Wales.

Where did you hold your reception?
St. Mary's Catholic Club Function Rooms

Did you have any special wedding transport?
I had a cream Rolls Royce.

How many guests did you invite to your wedding, and did you have a separate evening guest list?
We had 75 guests in the day and a further 50 in the evening

Did your reception have a particular theme in terms of colour or style?
Our reception was gold and cream with a slight Liverpool football club theme

How did you incorporate this in to your table settings?
Our tables were named after the football players and of course me and my new husband sat in the kop, I also had a Liverpool FC garter

Did you give your guests favours?
Yes they had gold organza bags filled with love hearts

Describe your flowers (bouquets and table decorations). Who was your florist?
my bouquet was a small posy of cream roses with diamantes and mocha ribbon, the adult bridesmaids had a single calla lily with champagne ribbon and the flower girls had cream rose wristlets with mocha ribbon

What did you choose to have on your menu? Did you have an outside caterer or did your venue handle the catering?
We had butterfly chicken or roast beef with seasoned vegetables and hot fudge cake for dessert, the venue catered the day reception and we had outside caterers for the evening

What did you choose for your wedding cake, and who made it?
We had a 3 tier sponge cake with ivory icing and gold ribbons with a heart explosion topper, a family member made it as a wedding present

Did you have any entertainment during the day or evening?
We had a DJ in the evening with a bit of karaoke

Did you have a gift list? If so, who did you have your list with?
No we put a poem in our invites asking for Euros for our honeymoon

Where did you spend your first night and honeymoon? Who did you book your honeymoon with?
We spent our wedding night at home with our daughter, we went to Greece for 2 weeks for our honeymoon we booked it with First Choice

What was your most memorable moment of the day?
Every moment was spectacular

Did you experience any "nightmare" moments in the run up to your wedding or on the day?
Not a single hiccup

Is there anything you would do differently, or any advice you would give to other brides?
Everything was perfect, my only advice is make sure you stand back and take the whole day in as it goes by in a flash
