Suzanne sent us her medieval real life wedding

What is your favourite section of the Confetti Community and why?

The Bride and Groom Forum. It was a great place to get information and impartial advice in the run up to our wedding.  I still go on to offer advice and tips to B2B's.  I've also made some great friends on the forum whom I now meet up with away from Confetti.

What are your interests and hobbies?

I love reading and I'm currently working toward my full motorbike licence so that I can get my own bike instead of hitching a lift on hubby's bike!

Cosy night in or wild night out?

Definitely a cosy night in.  Hubby and I and our dogs cuddled up with a good film - bliss!

Shopping or saving?

I'd like to say saving but probably more like shopping - so long as it's for other people (I hate shopping for myself!)

Chocolate or Cheese?

Cheese for sure - I'm more of a savoury person than a sweet.

Brad Pitt or George Clooney?

Brad Pitt - yummy!

What was the first dance at your wedding?

I didn't know what our first dance was until the band started playing it.  With all the things we had to do in the run up to the wedding I somehow forgot to choose a first song, so hubby chose it.  We had "Amazed" by Lonestar which was perfect!

What was the best part of your wedding day?

The whole day! We had an amazing day from start to finish and everything was perfect. The one moment that stands out a bit more than the rest is when I was getting ready in the room at the castle.  I had just gotten my dress on and went over to look out the window at our guests.  Just at that moment hubby and our best man (his 13 year old son) were having their pictures taken under the archway in the garden. I got really emotional at seeing him all gorgeous in his kilt and started crying (and didn't stop until after the ceremony!)

What piece of advice do you wish you had been given 5 years ago?

Trust your heart - sometimes it really does know better than your head!
