Cannon wants annual wedding ceremony

Pop singer Mariah Carey's rapper husband Nick Cannon wants them to have a lavish annual renewal of vows ceremony just like celebrity pair Heidi Klum and Seal.

Mariah and Nick hosted a party for their A-list friends in Los Angeles on their anniversary this year and then headed off to a private island in the Maldives for a second wedding ceremony in April.

The rapper told the San Francisco Chronicle: "Do it big or don't do it at all. We're always having a party... It was so quiet the first time and we want to have a party for everybody."

The couple married last April at Mariah's estate on the Bahamian island of Windermere only after weeks of dating.

Nick added that they were planning to have themed weddings every year at different venues - an idea popularised by German model Heidi and her singer husband Seal who have been hosting the annual event since they wed in 2005.

He said: "We're going to get married every single year in a different location. You've got to do it different every single year, different every time, themed weddings, all of that."
