Ortiz gives birth to baby girl

Ugly Betty star Ana Ortiz and husband Noah Lebenzon are celebrating the birth of their first child, according to People magazine.

Daughter Paloma Louise Lebenzon was born in New York, weighing 7lbs 10oz.

A spokesperson for Ana, 38, said: "She is elated and completely glowing. She is surrounded by her friends and family and so happy to be a mum. She is just really enjoying the moment. The baby is absolutely beautiful."

In the lead up to the birth, Ana had described how she was "anxiously awaiting" the big day.

She said: "My husband's phone number is on speed dial, my deep yoga breaths have been practised and my bags are all packed except for the toothbrushes, so I'm all set. I'm ready to have the baby!"
