Ace Young engaged to Grease co-star

Grammy-nominated songwriter Ace Young is reportedly engaged to his Grease co-star Allison Fischer.

"I found my true love in Grease," he told US Weekly, adding that he had proposed to Allison.

The 28-year-old singer-songwriter joined the cast of Grease's second Broadway revival last September where he played the character Kenickie during the final four months, while Allison took over the role of Patty Simcox.

Ace, whose real name is Brett Asa Young, rose to fame after he appeared on the fifth season of the reality television talent show American Idol, in which he finished seventh.

Besides singing, he also runs a charity named "Highrollers with Heart" that he started last year and voluntarily entertains patients in the Children's Hospital of Denver every Christmas.

He has also appeared in reality TV shows including VH1's "Rock of Love: Charm School".
