Sean Combs celebrates 40th birthday

Sean Combs, popularly known as P Diddy, is hosting a party in New York to celebrate his 40th birthday.

The music mogul, who he known for his extravagant parties, is planning the "party of the century" at the Plaza Hotel's Grand Ballroom on November 19.

P Diddy, who turned 40 on November 4, has hired event planner Bronson Van Wyck to arrange the "fantasy dreamland" themed celebration.

The New York Post reported that the party will have fashion installations, a labyrinth and performance art.

Bentley Meeker, the "Wizard of Light" is expected to set the mood for the event with the lighting.

The guest list is said to include Queen Latifah, Russell Simmons, Spike Lee, Zac Posen, Lil' Kim and a "very special" musical guest.

Combs has won three Grammy Awards and two MTV Video Music Awards.
