We’re Engaged! So, What Happens Next?

So, he’s popped the question, you’ve said yes and you’re officially engaged. Congratulations!

It’s the most romantic time of your life, being betrothed to the one you love and eagerly planning the happiest day of your life. Here are our top tips on what to do once you are engaged to be married.

Engagement ring(s) shopping

If he didn’t slip an engagement ring on your finger when he proposed then it’s time to hit the jewellers and go ring shopping. Looking online before you go is a great idea or you may even want to have a bespoke ring specially designed. Throwing an engagement party

Next up, it’s party time! Getting engaged is the perfect excuse to invite all your friends and family to a celebratory engagement party. You’ll need to think about:
invitations, a venue, food and drink, entertainment and venue décor. You might also want to have a cake made and book a photographer for the party. It’s not every day you get engaged after all.
