Former 90210 star Ziering engaged

Ian Ziering has announced his engagement with girlfriend Erin Kristine Ludwig by changing his Facebook status from being "in a relationship" to "engaged".

The 45-year-old star - who played Steve Sanders in the television series Beverly Hills, 90210 - said that they would walk down the aisle sometime in spring this year.

Ian told People magazine: "Her name is Erin Kristine Ludwig. She's a nurse, we're planning a spring wedding and we've been together since Labor Day 09."

This will be the second marriage for the TV star, whose first wedding to model and actress Nikki Schieler Ziering in 1997 last ended in divorce in 2002.

Ian has also participated in fourth season of the American version of the show Dancing with the Stars with Cheryl Burke as his partner.
