Sacha Baron Cohen weds Isla Fisher

Comedian Sacha Baron Cohen and his fiancee Isla Fisher have married at a private ceremony in Paris.

The 38-year-old Borat star and 34-year-old Australian actress got engaged in 2004 and have a two-year-old daughter, Olive.

Isla reportedly sent an email to friends who could not attend the wedding saying: "We did it – we're married!"

Woman's Day magazine reported that the couple married at sunset in a quiet, private ceremony they had wanted to have.

Isla wrote: "It was the absolute best day of my life and in so many beautiful moments I missed you all so much.

"I thought of you as everything was happening, but Sacha and I wanted no fuss – just us!"

Sacha is best known for his irreverent and often controversial characters Ali G, Borat and Bruno, while former Home and Away star Isla has starred in comedies including Wedding Crashers and Confessions of a Shopaholic.
