Nicole Richie's wedding gown plans

Reality show star Nicole Richie is reportedly looking for a new wedding dress after her chosen gown was worn by Bachelor star Molly Malaney on her big day.

The £29,500 Monique Lhuillier creation was Nicole's dress of choice, but the US star was forced to look elsewhere after Molly donned it for her wedding to Jason Mesnick, according to Life & Style magazine.

Nicole, 28, confirmed her engagement with Good Charlotte singer Joel Madden in February and has reportedly been searching around for a wedding dress.

A source told the magazine: "Nicole visited the Monique Lhuillier store in LA in February and liked a particular ruffled mermaid gown. But then Molly Malaney ended up wearing it at her wedding to Jason Mesnick."

"When Nicole saw the dress on TV on March 8, she had to scrap that idea. Now she wants a completely different look, and who can blame her?"

Nicole, who recently confessed that she already calls Joel her "husband", has two children with him - two-year-old daughter Harlow Winter and six-month-old son Sparrow James.
