Store worker's Vegas engagement

A South Yorkshire shop employee celebrated her dream engagement after receiving a surprise proposal from her boyfriend during a holiday in Las Vegas.

Selina Stent revealed that she was shocked when Ben Jones, 25, dropped down on one knee and proffered a ring in what was an eventful conclusion to the trip of a lifetime.

The 27-year-old, who works at Virgin Media's store on Fargate, Sheffield, and her colleague Daniel Rowan, 29, won the holiday to Sin City after emerging as top performers among the company's sales executives and managers during the second half of 2009.

Once in Las Vegas, they stayed at the luxurious Bellagio Hotel, enjoyed a flutter at the casinos and watched a Cirque du Soleil show.

Selina told the Sheffield Telegraph that Ben's proposal came at the spectacular Bellagio Fountains.

On their return, the couple were greeted at the store by an Elvis impersonator.
