Noel Gallagher's joy over baby news

Former Oasis star Noel Gallagher's long-time partner Sara MacDonald is reportedly pregnant with their second child.

The couple, who have been together for 10 years, are said to be "thrilled to bits" at the news.

They already have a two-year-old son Donovan, while Noel has a 10-year-old daughter, Anais, from his previous relationship with Meg Mathews.

The Sun reported that the pregnancy was confirmed this week after Sara, 39, underwent a three-month scan.

A friend of the couple told the newspaper: "Noel and Sara are over the moon."

"They're so happy that little Donovan will have a little partner in crime to play with. Their family is complete."

The baby is said to have been conceived while the pair was on holiday in South Africa, prompting friends to joke the child could be named Nelson after the legendary Nelson Mandela.

Meanwhile, the 42-year-old singer - who recently quit Oasis over differences with his brother Liam - is getting ready to perform solo for the Teenage Cancer Trust.

The source added: "Noel has been up to his eyes rehearsing for gigs lately and Sara has had her hands full because the family are moving house in London. The news has given them both something to smile about."
