How did your partner (or you) propose?
It was at my graduation. It was held at the bridgewater hall in manchester, as i qualified as a nurse. I had to go to to the town hall for professional graduation pictures. When theese had finished we were walking through the town hall admiring how beautiful it was, when he asked me to sit in a little alcove with stain glass windows and beautiful white pillars either side, where he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him!

my mum dad nan and grandad

Describe your ring.
It's gorgeous! a white gold diamond surrounded by smaller diamonds and diamonds on the band

Did you help choose the ring?
No he did an amazing job and picked it himself!

Will your partner wear an engagement ring as well?
No

Did you have an engagement party?
Yes 28/08/2010 can't wait!

Hindley leisure centre with all our family and close friends

Did you have a particular theme for your party?
Not really. we have an interlocking heart theme on ballons and followed a lilac and white colour scheme

Knowing that we are going to exchange vows and marry to spend the rest of our lives together!
