Fijians are predominantly Hindu, Christian or Muslim. If you want a Catholic service on the island documentation from your own local priest must be sent to the Fijian priest about 2-3 months in advance of your wedding. These should include proof of your baptism, permission from your priest and confirmation that you have completed a pre-marriage programme. All religious ceremonies are legally recognised under Fijian law.
