Your caterer or venue may provide the drinks, service and the necessary equipment, but do watch the price. Some venues allow the wedding organiser to provide the drink, but tend to charge corkage.
If you do arrange to buy drink from a supplier, such as an off-licence, make sure you get it on a sale or return basis. Usually suppliers can also advise on the best choice of wines and provide glasses, ice buckets and ice. This is a good way of buying the drink if you’re arranging the reception at home or in a hall.
