Bob and Norma

Bob and I decided to get engaged last May when we were staying with friends in Hedel, Holland. We went on a day trip to Amsterdam convinced that I would find the ring of my dreams. We didn’t but we did discover the Anne Frank House which we would thoroughly recommend to everyone. What a humbling experience.

While shopping in our home town of Peterborough in the middle of June I did find the ring of my dreams so we ordered it straight away. We officially got engaged on 22 June 2004 and Bob slipped the ring onto my finger in the car park of a solicitors of Peterborough - what a romantic venue! Our wedding is planned for 13 August 2005 which will also be my 50 birthday so it’s a double celebration.
