Claire and Rob

Last year, I went to Crete on a girls' holiday. One night, while out and having a laugh, I went to walk into a bar and was quickly knocked down as I walked in the door. When I looked up there he stood the man of my dreams. We started talking, decided to meet each other the next day. This turned into the typical holiday romance. I returned home to Ireland, totally heartbroken, but Rob decided to come to Ireland to see me. This continued for ten months, seeing each other every other weekend.

I moved over to England in February and left everything behind, but it was worth it. On April Fools' day this year, we got engaged and as you can imagine nobody believed us. I was cleaning the house when the doorbell rang. I opened it to find Rob down on one knee. It wasn't the most original way of proposing, but it was personal, between us with no onlookers (perfect!). Now we get married in 2002 - Valentine's weekend in Ireland and I can't wait. I am the happiest girl in the world!!!
