Jan and Andy

My name is Jan and my guy, Andy, proposed to me on the beach. It was in Cyprus on 11th Aug 2002 that, with the sunset behind us, he went down on one knee to propose. I am over the moon. Now how romantic is that?

Although it was unexpected, I had broached the subject before. He had said he'd needed time and that we would marry...one day. We have now been together since January 2000 and living together for 18 months. Our families are naturally as over the moon as we are. We plan to marry in August of next year.
