Jane and Chris

Chris and I have been together for just over two years but have known from the start that we wanted to be married. He propsed to me in Portchester Castle on 17th February 2002, after getting me there on the pretext of having some photos taken for our medieval swordfighting group. I was therefore not at all suspicious as to why he was wearing his armour and sword. He went down on one knee and asked me to marry him and when I said yes, most of our drama grouped appeared from several hiding places to clap and cheer. I was then taken back to my parents house where more of our friends had gathered for a surprise engagement party, which, amazingly, my 5 year old daughter Elsa hadn't breathed a word about for the previous two weeks! It was a romantic and magical day, never to be forgotten.
