Jodene and Troy

Though Troy and I live in New Zealand, we're currently spending some time living and working in the UK, and traveling in Europe. It had been a long term wish of mine to go to Paris and see the Eiffel Tower. We arrived in Paris, and Troy decided to take me straight out to dinner. As we passed the Eiffel Tower on the way to the restaurant, Troy asked "how long have you waited to see this?" I replied "Oh, only about five years!". He then said he wanted to take a photo, so leant down to fetch the camera from his bag. He was taking so long, I looked down, and was amazed to see him on his knee holding a beautiful ring! Then he said "will you marry me?" I just burst into tears, it was perfect! Even though I had suspected he would propose at some point soon, the moment was amazing, and I was speechless (though I managed to say yes). It has always been my dream to travel and get engaged somewhere special, so Troy managed to fulfill two dreams for me that week. I can't wait to be his wife. We haven't set a date just yet but we know it will be back in New Zealand with our family and friends.
