Leigh and Iain

Iain and I got engaged on the 28 September 2000. One year after we met. We had gone out for a meal this particular Thursday night to a beautiful Indian restaurant near his hometown.

We had had a gorgeous meal that night and it was at the end of the meal, when I went to freshen up, I came back to the table, and Iain produced this gorgeous platinum diamond solitaire ring. He took my hand from across the table and asked me to marry him. He told me he had wanted to ask me for ages, but it was just a matter of the money. It took a few seconds for it actually to sink in, but after leaving him wondering what my answer would be, I said yes.

It was the most exciting night of my life, and we are now preparing for our wedding day, which is set for the 29th of June 2002.
