Louise and Matthew

I have been with Matthew for two and a half years. We had talked about getting engaged, but I never thought that I would get the proposal that I did!

I was on holiday in Nice, in the South of France with some girlfriends. We'd just had a lovely dinner and were relaxing with a cocktail, when at 10.30 pm someone said my name. I turned round to find Matthew on his knee with a ring. He then said, "Will you marry me?" I couldn't really say much as I was so shocked.

I eventually said yes and found out that all the girls knew! They had been planning it for months!!

We have set the date for 2004. We had our engagement party on Saturday and have been very lucky with all our presents.
I thought that romance was dead! Obviously not!!!
