Nikki and Mark

Mark and I met whilst travelling independantly in Australia. I had travelled there following a 'broken heart' and I was at travelling alone.
I met Mark towards the end of my 'year out'. Mark was returning home via China and Australia following two years working teaching English in Japan! I boarded an 'Oz Experience' bus at Brisbane, half was through travelling up the East Coast of Australia, having had my first ever ride on a motor bike and having had the back tire blow out, hence all Mark could recall about the first time he saw me was a 'flurry of blonde hair and a purple top!'
Our romance began a week later on Fraser Island, the largest sand island in the world! I was supposed to continue my travels to NZ but decided to follow Mark home after New Year in Sydney.
We moved in together after 6 months and he asked me to marry him 3 and a half years later in the middle of a club, on bended knee, where his brother was Dj-ing.
When I said "YES" he slipped a ring he wore off his little finger and onto my wedding band finger!
