Ellen and Matthew

Mathew and I were on a self-drive holiday in South Africa in October 2000. Part of the trip was a five-day stay at Cape Town, during which we ventured up Table Mountain, late one afternoon. Whilst enjoying the view Mathew said "so shall we get married then?" To which I replied, "well only if you get on one knee and propose properly", which he did! (Which was more of a surprise). This was a very romantic gesture from Mat who is usually as romantic as a wet fish!
Anyway, it was very special and we stayed on the mountain until sunset. We have set a date for August 2002 ten years after we started going out together
