Nicola and Stuart

Stuart and I first met on the internet. We just got talking one day and found we got along quite well. He emailed me everyday from then on.The awkward thing was I was living in Australia and he lived here in England. After about a year talking and getting to know each other, he moved to Australia to be with me.

We had been spending every day together for four months when I decided that I wanted to spend the rest of my life with him. So I just asked him! We were watching tv when I just said to him "Do me a favour?". Syuart probably thought I was asking for a drink and then I just said "marry me?", and he said he would.

The thing is the next day he didn't say a word about it, which made me wonder if he was ignoring the fact I'd said anything or felt that I had done something he was meant to. The truth was he hadn't realised I was actually proposing, until I spoke to him later in the day! We went shopping the next day and bought two rings, one for me and one for him!

Three months later we upped and moved back to England and there are only four months to go now until our big day.
