Pauline and Jason

Jason and I met when I went on holiday with my mum and dad to my mum's home town (well village) in Ireland. I had just finished going through a messy divorce and have 3 children who came with us.
The first night I was on holiday my dad and uncle asked me to go to the pub (the only one in the village) so I did. When we left the pub Jason was outside with his friends he started chatting to me, he asked what part of Scotland I was from (I have never been to Scotland in my life), then he walked me back to my aunties and we spent the whole night telling each other our life stories. We saw each other every night for the next two weeks.
Jason was about to go in to the army but told me he would be coming to see me before he did. I didn't think nothing of it, as he is 7 years younger I have 3 kids and all I could think was why would he want me when he could have any one. However, he did come to England for a week, the kids loved him, he didn't see it as going out with me, he saw it as going out with the 4 of us.
We kept in touch by phone and mail everyday. Then in 3 months later, he had his passing out parade. He called me and told me he wanted me to come to it, his mum and dad wanted to pay my flight and wanted me to stay with them. I had never even spoke to them let alone meet them, and Jason wouldn't even be there. Anyway, I went I got on great with them; they are the in laws everyone wants.
10 months from meeting Jason he had been moved to England, but was still quite far from me, but at least I got to see him most week ends, he had his 2nd passing out parade and his parents had arranged to drive over from Ireland and meet me at the train station.
They booked a b+b for us all. On the day, we went to the army barracks and waited till the parade was over before we got to see Jason. We all went for lunch and then Jason and I went out for the night. We were meant to meet some of his work mates but they never turned up so we went on to a club where they usually drink hoping to see them.
While we were talking, I told Jason he had left a shirt at my house. I told him I had washed and ironed it, he looked at me and asked me how would I like to wash and iron his shirts for the rest of my life, I didn't realise what he was saying and joked that a woman's work was never done and stuff like that, then he told me he was going to the loo, 10 mins later the dj called my name and asked me how would I like to be Mrs. Jason planck, at this I looked at Jason and he said he wanted us to be together forever legally.
He's not very romantic but he made me cry, and I was still scared to tell his parents in the morning, I made him do it, and they were over the moon, his mum kissed and hugged me his dad told me I had a screw loose.
