Sarah and Nyge

Nyge and I had seen each other around for a couple of weeks. On the 17 May 2004 we started talking for the first time and we realised we lived just three streets apart. We sat talking in the pub until closing time and then Nyge asked if I wanted to share a taxi home. I said yes, went in to his for a glass of wine, and never went home again!

We sat up talking until 5 in the morning and couldn't believe how compatible we were. At about 4am Nyge said 'I could spend the rest of my life with you - this just feels right'! I couldn't believe it - it was exactly what I was thinking but I thought he'd run a mile if I said it out loud. I told him I felt the same way and asked him what he thought we should do about it. When he said 'we should get married' I nearly hit the floor! Then I said 'yes'!

Three days later he got down on one knee in front of his lodger and asked me again - and produced a ring.

We've been inseparable since then. I moved in on our first date, we met the parents within a month, booked the wedding within three months and we get married in February 2006. I can't wait to spent the rest of my life with the most incredible man I've ever met!
