Who booked your honeymoon?
We booked it together over the internet.

How long after your wedding did you leave for your honeymoon?
We left the day after our wedding.

Barcelona.

Three days.

How much did it cost and what type of holiday was it (all inclusive, self catering, package etc)?
We paid £300 for flights and accommodation. We booked the flights online and contacted the hotel directly.

Did you spend the whole holiday in one place or did you travel around?
In one place.

What did you do?
We did lots of sight-seeing as we'd never been to Barcelona before and wanted to get a feel for the city.

What was a typical day like?
Busy as we wanted to do as much as possible as we were only away for a couple of days. We have two children so it was nice to spend time alone together doing what we wanted to do.

How did you and your partner get on?
We had a lovely time together. It was a great chance to discuss how the wedding had gone after all the planning. We managed to do what we both wanted to do and spent some quality time together.

Any other detail/advice/help/stories you would like to share:
Definitely shop around. Our wedding was arranged on a budget and we thought we wouldn't be able to afford a honeymoon. But, we had a fantastic three days and we will go back and visit again as we really only got a snapshot of the city. We'd also recommend getting on a tour bus in Barcelona so that you can get a glimpse of everything without getting aching feet!
