Liz's fashionable hen night

Ever since she first hit headlines in 1994 by stepping out clad in a wisp of black fabric held together with some safety pins, Liz Hurley has been photographed in an array of slinky Versace numbers.

So it is no surprise that the model-turned-actress-turned-designer has asked Donatella Versace to be involved in the fashion at her upcoming wedding to businessman Arun Nayer.

According to Grazia magazine, the 41-year-old star wants the head of the design house to provide a private fashion show at the hen night so that guests can select their own perfect frock.

"Elizabeth wants Donatella to provide some dresses so her friends can choose stunning outfits for her big day," a source told the magazine. "She wants it to be an intimate gathering, with lots of champagne and nibbles."

The Austin Powers star has also planned an afternoon of beauty treatments followed by dinner at a posh restaurant for her hens, FemaleFirst reveals.

Liz and her fiancé are planning on tying the knot early next year, with one ceremony reportedly taking place near the bride's Gloucestershire home and the second apparently being held in Udaipur, India.
