On New Years Eve 2005, at a party, it was just before midnight, so just as I said "yes" the fireworks started to go off, it was so romantic!
Jonny went to Edinburgh with the lads for a weekend in a campervan. Lindsey went the night before the wedding to Cotton's Spa Hotel to have massages, facials and manicures as well as some bubbly, with all the girls.

Yes, the girls on the cafe have been fab and have given loads of great advice, also we purchased things from the shop.
Yes, online, we bought lots of table decorations and DIY stationery.
Lindsey's dress is a Maggie Sottero Porsh Ann in blush colour, purchased from Wedding Wishes in Staylbridge.
We had five bridesmaids, my best mate, my sister, two cousins and Jonny's sister. They all wore Raylia Shana dresses two in dusky pink and two in chocolate. And they all looked gorgeous!
Jonny' s best man was his best mate, Bod, who did an excellent job, and the usher was my brother Alan.

We used a two box chocolates from Thorntons and you got to choose the chocolates you wanted inside, yummy!
Red Floral Architecture, from Mossley did our flowers and they were brill. The groom and his party has calla lilies with crystals and wiring in chocolate and pink. The bridesmaids had calla lilies in a wand style with butterflies, crystals and feathers, and my bouquet was so stunning that I cried when they dismantled it for pressing! It was again calla lilies and roses with crystals and beading. For the table centre pieces I had a mixture of tall vases with rose petals in and round bunch of flowers on the top with butterflies. And then fish bowls with lilies, pink gravel and goldfish!
The venue chose our caterers and we had a carvery menu, starting with roast pepper and tomato soup, then turkey or beef with a choice of vegetables and salad (oh and the veggie option of risotto), then either warm apple pie or profiteroles for pud! Yum! We also had canapes and they made a warm cider punch which was lovely as it was such a cold day!
Cherrytree Kitchen, Ashton under lyne, did our cake, it is bespoke, and it was chocolate sponge drizzled in more chocolate with pink love hearts and milk and dark chocolate roses. Yum! And we still have loads left!
Yes we recorded a CD for the wedding breakfast and at night we had a DJ so we could boogie on down!
Yes, at John Lewis and it was really good.
We spent the first night at Cotton's Spa Hotel in Knutsford, and we both has massages the next day. Then off to the Dominican Republic for our honeymoon, which was brilliant, it's so beautiful and the Dominicans are so nice and friendly.
The music began to jump as I walked down the aisle, so I walked down the aisle to a completely different song than the one I chose, but I didn't care! On the video it's the song I chose, the power of editing and modern technology!
Yes lots. I was so ill and becoming more of a bridezilla by the minute. I had left everything to the last minute and two days before the wedding, the table settings still needed to be done, a close relative was in hospital, and my transport broke! But I'd do it all again!
Just enjoy it because when it's all over you'll want to do it again! Also plan something to look forward to after the wedding like a weekend away six months later or a summer holiday as you get the withdrawals and post-wedding blues - unfortunately mine started on the wedding day, when I realised after today it's all over. Also take some time out every now and then to take everything in on your big day, it goes so fast.
