Q.

Help! I’m having a traditional Turkish engagment party in a few months but want it to have a bit of a twist. I’m going for a black & white theme but struggling with one thing. At the end of the night we give out favours in a basket and I want something different to this – in one it needs to hold Turkish biscuits and in the other, sugar almonds.  Any ideas on what could be used instead?  There will be 2 adults holding the baskets. Thanks !

A.

This is a lovely idea and there are several baskets you could choose from. This stylish and unsual black and white basket would fit your theme perfectly, as would these jewelled plain black or white satin baskets with added sparkle. For a more modern twist personalise a black tote bag with your joined initials!
