I am getting married in a warm climate in March in a relaxed environment. I’d like a beautiful but simple wedding dress – something that would be suited to say a beach wedding. My budget is around £500. Is this impossible?

Not at all! BHS Bridal is very good and has a variety of gowns under this mark. They’re not made of Duchess satin but they’re beautiful bridal gowns. The Destination and Sandals ranges at Dessy are also worth looking at. This gorgeously simple Sweetheart gown is a light chiffon so ideal for a beach wedding or a warm climate, as is this Greek inspired design by Mon Cheri. And Tia by Benjamin Roberts is not to be missed too.

There are more lovely dresses in Short and Sassy Wedding Dresses and in this round-up of Knee-Length and Tea Length Vintage style wedding dresses.

It’s worth looking at second hand  wedding dresses if they’ve been cleaned too, in the dedicated Wedding Gowns for Sale  forum.
