Q.

I have a very elegant dress and want my hair half up and half down. Should my veil sit directly behind the tiara or further back?

A.

It depends on the veil and tiara and whether you want to wear your veil over your face initially or wear it back. The tiara should sit towards the front of your head with your veil fixed into your hair with a comb further back. If you are having a hairdresser then they will ask you to bring your tiara and veil with you to your hair trial so you can get it just right.
