Q.

I want my wedding theme to be white / ivory lovebirds but not birdcages or vintage. We are all in delicate chiffon with bridesmaids  in coral and there’s a lot of pearls on my dress. Our invitations have lovebirds pocketfold type in coral and a touch navy. Any ideas for table decor?

A.

Your colours and theme sound beautiful and I like the touch of navy with your ivory and coral. I think this accent colour, together with your pearls, could be what you base your table decor around, with the love birds as your central theme. I’d suggest going for ivory/white linens with a simple lovebird candle as your table centrepiece surrounded by ivory flowers with a navy ribbon to which you could further enhance with pearls  or leave plain. Alternatively you could put the candle inside a glass hurricane vase and simply tie with a navy or coral ribbon at the base. Add these gorgeous little love bird place card holders, and these ceramic white love bird bottle stoppers for favours and perhaps even these cute coral  ‘wishes for the love birds’ cards instead of a guest book too.  You might also like to include pearl garlands draped over curtains or along the front of your top table or white table pearls for a finishing touch.
