Q.
A deposit has been paid on a reception venue that is lovely outside for taking photos but inside seems a bit small. There is a little bridge on the other side and I wondered if a marquee is the way to go only her parents are really keen on it being inside. Any suggestions?
A.

I don’t see any harm in suggesting you do both – your fiancee’s parents may well be open to discussing the possiblity of having the food inside the venue and the bar outside in a marquee. Check with the venue whether this is possible first and then discuss it with your fiancee and perhaps ask her to suggest it to her parents if their opinion is needed.
