Q.
My fiancé wants to wear a white suit… how can he pull this off without making us look cheesy?
A.

I love your question! He can definitely pull it off without making you look ‘cheesy’! There are white suits and white suits and unless he’s thinking of a diamond-encrusted Elvis style jump suit, the cheese-factor should be manageable! If your gown is ivory, however, I’d suggest he goes for an ivory suit rather than a stark white as you don’t want to clash with each other. Check out this contempoarary smart-casual suit jacketby Favourbrook which could be teamed with a waistcoat or tie to match your bridesmaids dresses/colour scheme, or worn simply with a neutral shirt and tie as shown and jazzed up to coordinate with a colourful buttonhole (or even socks or, if he’s very daring… shoes!) You can see more Menswear in our Fashion section. And you might want to consider suite hire as opposed to purchase or tailor-made – check out Formal Affair. I think he’ll look great!
