Q.

My fiancée and I are both wheelchair users. We are trying to find a wedding car which would be suitable to carry two wheelchairs, so we would be able to travel from the church to our reception together. Would you be able to give any contacts who would be able to supply such a vehicle?

A.

Although I don’t know of specific wedding car companies who can help in your area, I can give you some useful websites where you might find the help you need in planning the transport for your big day.

First of all, the local government websites often list a reasonable number of contacts for taxis and other wheelchair friendly transport so it might be worth a look

Check out some of the UK Wedding Car Companies

London Cabs are great for accommodating wheelchairs and are popular for weddings as they also allow the bride to get in and out if the vehicle without catching her dress. Try
http://www.weddingtaxi.com/ .

Finally, try http://www.broad-oak.net/showroom.html which is the biggest
supplier of wedding transport in your area. They have a wide range of cars including seven seater limousines and even a American style stretch limo
which might be able to accommodate your wheelchairs.

Best of luck, I hope you find what you’re looking for
