Q.

My partner and I are living together in Ireland (where he comes from) but I come from Kent, and that’s where my family and friends are. So where do we get married??

A.

Many couples face this dilemma when planning their wedding.

You have various options and it’s basically up to you to choose which you think would suit you best.

1. Get married in Ireland and invite your friends and family to Ireland.
2. Get married in Kent and invite his friends and family to Kent.
3. Get married somewhere neutral.
4. Get married in Ireland or Kent and have a blessing in the other place.

Think about the implications of each option in terms of travelling and accommodation for guests.
