Emma's answers to Too many bridesmaids
Question
I've already asked five people to be bridesmaid, all of whom are 25-30 years old. I actually only need three and need to tell two of them I can't have them...but how?! One of them will be singing in church so that's okay but I need a role for the other.
Answer
How about asking the other friend if she could do a reading in the church instead? Alternatively, she could help at the reception - perhaps making a welcome toast, or helping to hand out favours. I'm sure if you explain your dilemma, she will be very understanding.
