I have lovely long nails and had planned to paint them a deep red colour - my bridesmaid is in dark red and I am having red roses for my bouquet. When I mentioned this to my friends they were horrified and said I should have a French manicure. What do you think?

Answer

I think that as long as it's not really bright red but more of a deep red it should look great.

Before the big day why not paint one hand with the red nail varnish and the other with a quick French manicure, (you can buy diy kits for this at boots). Then try on your dress etc and see what really looks best. Remember your hands will be focused on in a lot of the shots (the ring!).
