Emma's answers to Matron of honour query
Question
I have four bridesmaids, and one of them is married. Is it correct to call her Maid of Honour or is it Matron of Honour?
Answer
Generally if you have multiple bridesmaids you would have a Chief Bridesmaid rather than a Matron of Honour (Matron because she's married.)
You can call your Chief Bridesmaid a Matron of Honour if you wish but it does indicate a separate role, rather than just a bridesmaid.
