Emma's answers to Veil on soft hair

Question

I have very fine, soft hair which means that no clips or combs will ever stay in. I am therefore wondering what to do about wearing a veil for my big day.

Answer

Both John Lewis and Hobby Craft have plain ivory/white satin bands which you can decorate as you wish (they have them with the bridal favours in the craft section rather than in with the accesories). I'm sure you could attach your veil and then decorate the band with pearls or beads to hid the join.

It might also be a good idea to speak to your hairdresser - I'm sure with a skilled hand and plenty of hairpins, it will stay in fine.
