Emma's answers to Job of a toastmaster

Question

My brother in law has offered to act as toastmaster but what does that entail?

Answer

There are various toasts tratitionally made at a wedding:

The brides father's toast is, 'The health and happiness of the bride and groom'

The groom's toast is, 'The bridesmaids'

The best man can make an optional toast to the bride and groom.

If your brother-in-law is acting as a toastmaster he might like to announce the following:
The arrival of the bride and groom at the reception.
The receiving line
The meal being served
Grace
The speeches
The cutting of the cake
The first dance (Though if you have a DJ this can be done by him)
